Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of this website and set out the basis on which DecSOFT SRL provides web development services.
Last updated: 6 August 2026
1. About these terms
This website is operated by DecSOFT SRL ("DecSOFT", "we", "us"), a limited liability company registered in Brașov, Romania, EU VAT number RO18041135, contactable at info@decsoft.biz.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. Where we agree a separate written contract for a project, that contract takes precedence over these terms for anything it covers.
2. Using this website
You may view, download and print pages from this site for your own reference. You must not:
- use the site in any unlawful or fraudulent way, or for any harmful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system;
- introduce malware, or attempt to disrupt or overload the site;
- systematically scrape or harvest content or contact details from the site;
- republish substantial parts of the site as your own material.
We may withdraw or restrict access to the site at any time without notice.
3. Information on this site
The content of this site is provided for general information about our services. It is not professional advice, and it is not an offer capable of acceptance. While we take care to keep the site accurate and current, we do not warrant that it is complete or free of error, and we may change it at any time without notice.
4. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the design, text, code and layout of this website are owned by DecSOFT SRL. The DecSOFT name and logo are our marks and may not be used without our written permission.
Photographs on this site are used under licence from their respective photographers.
5. Enquiries, quotes and proposals
An enquiry places no obligation on either side. Any figure we give in conversation is indicative only. A quotation becomes binding only when issued by us in writing and accepted by you in writing, and it remains valid for 30 days from its date unless it says otherwise.
A quotation covers the scope described in it. Work you ask for beyond that scope is quoted and agreed separately before we start it.
6. Client responsibilities
To deliver a project on time we need you to:
- provide content — text, images, product data and access credentials — in reasonable time;
- give feedback and approvals at the agreed points in the project;
- confirm that any material you supply is accurate and that you hold the rights to use it;
- keep your own copies of any material you supply to us.
Delays in providing content or approvals will move the delivery date accordingly.
7. Fees and payment
Fees, the payment schedule and any recurring charges are set out in the accepted quotation. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are payable within 15 days of the invoice date. Prices exclude VAT unless expressly stated. We may suspend work or withhold a launch while an invoice is overdue, and statutory interest may apply to late payment.
8. Ownership of work
On full payment, the rights in the bespoke website or application we build for you transfer to you, and you may host and modify it as you wish. This does not transfer ownership of:
- third-party software, frameworks, plugins or fonts, which remain under their own licences;
- stock photography, which remains subject to its original licence;
- our own general-purpose tools, libraries and know-how, which we may reuse.
9. Maintenance and support
Ongoing maintenance, hosting and support are provided only where separately agreed. Where they are agreed, either side may end the arrangement with 30 days' written notice. We will co-operate reasonably in handing over to you or another supplier.
10. Warranties and liability
We will perform our services with reasonable care and skill, by suitably competent people. We will correct, free of charge, defects in our own work reported within 30 days of launch that cause the site to depart from the agreed scope.
We cannot warrant that any website will be free of all defects, that it will be uninterrupted, or that it will achieve any particular commercial result, search ranking or level of traffic — those depend on factors outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, or loss or corruption of data. Our total liability arising from a project is limited to the fees paid to us for that project. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Third-party services and links
Websites we build may rely on third-party services such as hosting, payment providers, couriers or mail delivery. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, pricing changes or acts. Links from this site to other websites are provided for convenience and are not endorsements.
12. Confidentiality
Each side will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for the purposes of the project. This does not apply to information that is already public, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.
Unless you ask us not to, we may name you as a client and show the work we did for you as a portfolio example.
13. Personal data
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf as part of a project, we do so as a processor on your written instructions.
14. Force majeure
Neither side is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including infrastructure or network failure, acts of public authorities, industrial action, natural events or armed conflict.
15. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you use the site is the version that applies. The date above shows when it last changed.
16. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by Romanian law. The competent courts of Brașov, Romania, have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer you keep any right you have to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.
